Frog Eye Gecko
These nocturnal geckos are native to southwestern Central Asia. They are found in sand or sandy clay deserts where they live on the ground and like to burrow. When threatened, Frog Eyed Geckos put on a cat-like display. They arch their backs and hiss to put off their opponent before they flee. A winter dormancy period at 50-60° F for six weeks is recommended.
