Its body is a mottling of black, brown, and red spots make it an attractive aquarium addition. Preferring a well-established aquarium with a great deal of Live Rock and Live Sand, it is an animated fish that displays a great deal of character. The Fringy Fin Goby is completely peaceful toward other fish and invertebrates, but care should be used not to introduce other fish that may pick on it. If more than one Fringy Fin Goby (or member of the Goby family) is to be introduced to the same aquarium, plenty of space and Live Rock should be provided as they may quarrel initially as territories are established.
