Flavivertex Pseudochromis
Flavivertex Pseudochromis, Pseudochromis flavivertex, add an animated mixture of blue and yellow to the home aquarium. Also known as the Sunrise Dottyback, agile swimmers from the Red Sea are a popular aquarium fish. Usually found in the passages between corals, they rarely venture into the open areas of the ocean. Typically peaceful with other species, they may be somewhat assertive amongst their own species. If given adequate room, more than one Flavivertex may be kept in the same aquarium, although it is recommended to introduce them at the same time. They are also revered for their ability to hunt and consume bristleworms. Pseudochromis love a meal of frozen or live brine or mysid shrimp.
