Flame Damsel
Flame Damsel, Pomacentrus bankanensis,is commonly found in the Indian & Western Pacific Ocean. Also known as the Orange Head Damsel or Speckled Damsel, its coloration varies, but most have a gray-blue body with blue specks. The orange head and dorsal region are accented with bluish striping. An eye spot is present at the rear of the dorsal fin. The Pomacentrus genus are omnivores that thrive with a variety of prepared and frozen foods. They will swim actively at all levels of the aquarium and may be somewhat territorial and aggressive as an adult. A great fish for aquarists of all experience levels.
