A unique addition to your aquarium because of its’ blue/green coloration! This crayfish is native to Florida. The Electric Blue is best suited for the intermediate aquarist due to the fact that it is very aggressive. Since it is so aggressive it is neither inter-species compatible nor community aquarium safe. When it comes to feeding it is a hardy species since it is an opportunistic omnivore. In regards to sexing this species: the adult male has a distinctive red patch on his claws and the female does not display this marking.
