Dwarf Lily, Nymphaea stellata, is also known in some locals of Asia as Oriya. The plant's bulb has medicinal value in the treatment of burn wounds. In the aquatic garden, the Dwarf Lily requires intense lighting with the reward of a beautiful blossom waiting. The bulb should be placed in the mid-ground to foreground of the aquarium. In addition to lighting requirements, Dwarf Lilies like water that is acidic in nature. Reproduction is accomplished by the creation of more bulbs or through distribution of the seeds created.
