Diandra
Diandra, Didiplis diandra, provides a thick lush filler for the mid-ground or background of the planted aquarium. Indigenous to the Northeast section of the Americas, Diandra prefers slightly acidic waters. Moderate lighting and experience with a planted aquarium are the prerequisites for keeping this gorgeous plant. The rich green feathery texture of Diandra spreads at an average rate primarily through the use of cuttings. The development of flowers and seeds is another method through which this plant can spread. Diandra should be planted in tight groupings when first introducing to the aquarium; several bunches are recommended.
