Yellow Assessor
Yellow Assessor, Assessor flavissimus, is an excellent addition to reef aquariums of any size: either a single specimen for smaller or a number of them for a larger aquarium. If more than one are to be present in the same aquarium, it is recommended to introduce them at the same time. This native of Australian waters prefers to dart in and out of Live Rock. Sometimes known as the Gold Dwarf Grouper (though at a maximum length of around 3 inches, it is definitely not a member of the Grouper family), this fish will make his presence known with its beautiful coloration. The glowing yellow body is highlighted with red/orange fin tips. As a carnivore, it readily accepts meaty meals including live brine and frozen prepared foods. A great fish for aquarists of all experience levels.
