Dalmatian Linckia Starfish

Dalmatian Linckia Starfish, Linckia multiflora, is found on several of the reefs scattered throughout the Indo-Pacific region. More appropriately known as a Sea Star, this echinoderm makes a gorgeous addition to the reef aquarium with its spotted rainbow coloration. It can be found looking for uneaten food and microscopic prey on the glass, rock, or sand.

Notes: Linckia Starfish are extremely sensitive to sudden changes in water parameters and to the presence of copper. Extra care and time should be taken whenever acclimating this animal.
