This pale yellow cichlid is one of the smaller and more peaceful of African cichlids, and can be housed with peaceful tank mates. When it comes to breeding though, this little fish will become much more aggressive and will block off and protect a fairly large portion of the aquarium to protect its young. As an omnivore this fish is very easy to feed, and it will reliably eat frozen, flake and tiny pellet foods.
