DT’s Live Marine Phytoplankton is a micro food for filter feeders which provides great benefits by making the food chain in your reef aquarium longer. This phytoplankton is of the 2 - 20 micron range which means there will be food sources in the bottle for organisms as small as copepods or as large as Goniopora, feather dusters, gorgonians, and clams. In a well established and stocked reef aquarium, a feeding schedule of three days each week is recommended using a conservative dose.

In addition to being used as a direct feeding element for your aquarium, this item can also be used as an additional food when growing live brine shrimp larvae, as it will enhance the shrimp and make them more nutritious as food for fish.
