Citron Goby
Citron Goby, Gobiodon citrinus, requires an aquarium of peaceful tankmates, but otherwise has few special requirements. This beautiful yellow fish with various blue marking grows to a maximum of about 2 inches. The Citron Goby will move from spot to spot in the aquarium, always displaying its bright yellow glow. It is also known as the Poision Goby because of a toxic mucus it creates as a defense mechanism, but this toxin is not harmful to any who do not eat the Citron. Perfect for large and for small aquariums, Citron of Catalina Gobies typically do fine with any aquarium mates who do not bother it and even with its own kind, if given plenty of room. It will accept a variety of foods including Brine Shrimp and bloodworms, and will typically accept flake food fairly readily.
