Chevron Tang
The Ctenochaetus hawaiiensis or Chevron Tang is found in the Hawaiian Island regions and is a unique addition to the home aquarium. Its diet should consist of vegetable-based prepared foods and fresh zucchini, broccoli and spirulina. Fairly peaceful in demeanor, it may pick on smaller Tangs that are added after it has established its home. This fish is considered "reef safe". Like all Tangs, it should be quarantined before adding to a display aquarium.
Approximate arrival size for Chevron Tang: Small (Juv): 1-2"; Medium (Transitioning): 2.5-3.5"; Large (Adult): 4-5"
