A member of the hawkfish, the Spotted Hawk lacks a swim bladder and will spend almost all of its time resting on Live Rock, corals or the substrate. They will hop from one place to another, always keeping an eye out for more food. They will eat most shrimp, some crabs and smaller fish. In the aquarium they will eat most all types of prepared foods, especially meaty based diets. This is a fish with personality who will spend as much time watching you as you spend watching it.
