This tiny shrimp is absolutely gorgeous to look at with its red coloration, white front legs, and white spots throughout. These shrimp prefer a warmer aquarium temperature of at least 78 degrees for their water, and at that temperature they will be very active. Once these little shrimp have settled into the aquarium and have become comfortable they are very active, moving around the tank and feeding on whatever algae and leftover food they can find. Since this shrimp is very tiny it is recommended to buy several for an aquarium so that they will be more visible. Like most Sulawesi region shrimp, this little invertebrate will do best when housed in an aquarium planted heavily with live plants.
