On the quest to bring more birds to your back yard or patio, making a food supply readily available using bird feeders is an important step. In addition to seed feeders, bringing a suet feeder in, especially during the winter months, is sure to have the birds and small mammals swarming to your place. For some, the squirrels that come along with birds are a great thing but for others they can be a nuisance and feeders may require some squirrel proofing. Squirrels can certainly be deterred but rarely can something be made 100% squirrel proof.
