Lasting Bulb!

Pros:
Cons:
Currently using a 75 watt bulb for my bearded dragon in it's 40 gallon breeder. The bulb keeps my dragon's basking spot at a constant 98 degrees and i'm happy about that. I've also had this bulb for about 3 months and it's still going strong. As for the outputs, its stated that it gives off UVA, not UVB, which is typical for most basking bulbs. Mercury bulbs on the other hand, give off both heat, UVA and UVB.

Pros:
it burns a long time, cheap
Cons:
only UVA
I usually use this brand because it burns a long time and its cheap, but I wish that they would make a bulb that had both UVA and UVB in it.

Pros:
helps warm the tank and shine light
Cons:
will harm indoor reptiles and turtles if not supplemented with uvb light
I have used these lights for a couple years as recommended by a pet store owner. My turtle is 4 and has developed dry shell rot in most probable conjunction with having a lack of UVB light. All reptile owners be forewarned, this light bulb does not contain the UVB spectrum.
