Decorations

Reptile and terrarium decorations are not only for making the habitat look nice to humans, but the pieces perform the very valuable function of helping make the reptile, amphibian, or arachnid feel more comfortable in its home. When an animal is comfortable with its surroundings, it will generally display better color, have a better appetite, and have a tendency to exhibit its natural behaviors. Decorations, including plants, waterfalls and rocky cave hideouts, can be used to reproduce a native environment, as well as provide protection.
