Coconut Reptile Substrate

Coconut bark is specifically meant to be used in extremely high humidity or partial water filled habitat builds. This substrate lends itself especially well to amphibian habitat builds, which tend to be extremely wet environments. Some substrates when exposed constantly to water or extreme high humidity may grow fungus, rot, or grow mold. Coconut bark based bedding is designed to not have any of these negative side effects. Coconut bark or coconut husk substrate can be used alone, or it can be mixed with other soils and substrates to build a terrarium or vivarium.
