Lori Bird Food

Lorikeets, also called a Lori for short, are by nature nectar feeders. These birds do not tend to eat much in the way of solid food in the wild, and due to this lack of solid food they tend to have very messy almost always near liquid feces. At home this could be a difficult obstacle to get around, but there are dry lorikeet foods for these birds in captivity that are small pellets specifically designed for nectar feeders. Nectars and treats like applesauce can still be offered as treats, but the more solid food this bird eats the better off it will be and the better off its owner will be.
