Tortoises

Among those who keep tortoises as a pet, the Russian tortoise is one of the most popular tortoises since it doesn't attain the massive size of other tortoises like the red foot. These large, gentle creatures are herbivores by nature, and will need to be fed a diet of rich, leafy greens and other vegetables as well as the occasional fruit. Leafy greens such as kale, romaine lettuce, collared greens and mustard greens are the staple part of a tortoises diet when kept as a pet. Tortoises are well known for their longevity, often living for decades.
