The Red Coris Wrasse starts its life as a bright orange fish, turning to its namesake red color as it matures. This Wrasse should only be kept on sandy substrates, at least 2" deep to allow the wrasse to bury itself at night or when frightened. As they mature they will become more aggressive and any invertebrate would be considered food for the Red Coris. Its diet should include meaty foods like Mysis and brine shrimp and other chopped seafoods, in addition to a good marine flake food.
