The Puddingwife Wrasse in the wild will feed on crustaceans such as sea urchins and starfish, as well as some mollusks. In the home aquarium it will need to be fed very meaty frozen foods if it is going to grow to anywhere near full size. This wrasse does get quite large, and will require one or two feedings per day to replace its energy lost from cruising around the tank all day.
