Tangs for Saltwater Aquariums

Tangs, also known as Surgeon fish, are popular herbivores that come in a wide variety of shapes and colors. Tangs will often graze on green hair algae in an aquarium but will often ignore algae if better food is readily available. They are hardy fish that are shy at first but bold as they become accustomed to the aquarium. It is recommended that all Tangs be quarantined for 10 to 14 days upon arrival for observation.
