Damsels for Saltwater Aquariums

Damsels are incredibly hardy and very active, in addition to being available in a variety of vibrant colors. Many fish keepers view Damsels as good starter fish, but, if planned carefully, they can make excellent long term additions to the aquarium. Damsels' temperaments could be described as "scrappy," meaning they are territorial and will most likely have frequent fights over their area in the aquarium. Damsels make great tank mates for fish such as Large Angelfish and Tangs because they can easily hold their own against these fish which are many times their size.
