Also known as the Yellow Mask Angel. Like most Angelfish, it is not a "reef safe" fish and will not tolerate other Angels in the tank. Juveniles and Subadults will adapt to aquarium conditions and require a varied diet of vegetable and meat based prepared foods. Adult coloration is similar to the Atlantic Queen Angelfish, though with a yellow eye mask and no crown. The Blueface Angel is fairly hardy once acclimated to prepared diets. The Juvenile version of this fish looks very different from the adult coloration, showing alternating black, blue, and white stripes. As much variety as possible should be provided in the diet for this fish, and it is recommended that a specialty food designed for marine angelfish also be provided if available as well.
Please note, the fish not marked as juvenile will not be full juvenile but may not be full adults. They may be in the transitioning stage.
