Longtail Grass Lizards are native to the grasslands of Southern China, Java, and Kalimantan. They can move very rapidly and are often called racers or runners. They are best housed in an aquarium equipped with an under tank heating pad at one end and moss substrate landscaped to provide hiding places. Keep the terrarium damp but not wet. A bowl of clean water should always be available. The Longtail Grass Lizard does best in daytim temperatures ranging from 72° - 86°F and nighttime temperatures ranging 68° - 72°F.
