Displaying an array of colors including blues, greens, oranges, reds, and yellows, the Male Red Cobra Guppy is peaceful and gets along with any fish that will not bother it. Typically double the size of the Male Red Cobra Guppy, the Female Guppy can produce 20 to 40 young every 4 to 6 weeks. As with other Livebearers, the males possess the modified anal fin (gonopodium) which enables the Guppies internal fertilization method. Originating from weedy ditches of South America and Africa, most Guppies are commonly now tank bred.
