Black Fin Shark
This active Black Fin Shark catfish will make an excellent tank mate for semi-aggressive fish, as well as fish which are fairly aggressive and large by nature, such as South American Cichlids. The Blackfin Shark will eat a variety of food, and is not picky, but bear in mind it may also eat smaller fish which may fit into its mouth as it grows. It is important to note that this fish, as it grows, will begin to require increasing levels of salt in its water. It is considered a brackish water fish, though when young they are often housed in freshwater such as here at PetSolutions. The transition from freshwater to brackish water should be gradual over a period of weeks or months.
