These fish are active swimmers, and make a very lively addition to any community aquarium. A fin-nipper when kept singly or in smaller groups, it should be kept in a large school so it will be less likely to nip the fins of other tank mates. This fish is easy to care for and will likely eat almost any flake, pellet, freeze dried, or frozen fish food it is offered.
