The Kaytee Finch Station 2 makes attracting and feeding finches easier than ever as they adore soft mesh socks and prefer them over traditional tube feeders. The unique, Squiggle Sock design provides more surface area that enables finches to perch wherever they want, and allows for numerous birds to eat at one time. The weather-resistant dome reservoir which holds extra seed, automatically keeps the sock filled longer. Each feeder comes with one sock for initial use and one for replacement. Feeder holds 3.5 lbs. of food. Mesh socks are refillable and measure 18".

Worth Buying

Pros:
Finches love it, Great value, Easy to Use
Cons:
Bird feeders can be expensive and sometimes you get a feeder that the birds do not like and won't use. After much research, decided to give this one a try. Finches seem to really like socks so bought this and the single sock feeder at the same time. Liked the concept of a giant sock with a lid for easy filling and weather protection. I have finches like never before and everybody gets to eat because of the sock size. Have had a blast watching them out my window and if ever you wanted to buy a finch feeder, buy this one.

Pros:
inexpensive
Cons:
socks need replacing, but not much of a problem
Of all the feeder types I have tried, this, by far, works best for feeding Gold Finches with the least interference by the squirrels! It also is much more fun to see a larger group of birds able to eat at the same time. Replacing socks is easy and an inexpensive alternative to buying a new feeder.

Pros:
Refill less often, attract more birds
Cons:
need to purchase seed more frequently
I used to have only a few finch visit my tube feeder until I put out two 6-inch feeder socks. The finch multiplied that same day. The 18-in socks are great for feeding birds for a longer period of time and the additional storage on top means fewer trips out to refill them. You will go through more seed faster, but I enjoy all the bird activity in my yard.

Pros:
the socks are longer and holds more food attrachs more birds
Cons:
don't know how long the socks will last
I just purchased the Finch Station 2 Bird Feeder and the finches love it. Last year I only had a few finches to come. This year I have in excess of 20 coming multiple times a day. I did start earlier this year but I really think that it is having an adequate feeder such as the Finch Station 2. If you love looking at the birds you will love having this because it will accomdate a lot at one time.

love it

Pros:
lots of finches can feed
Cons:
replacement socks
love feeder but pet solutions no longer carries replacement socks and they are hard to find elsewhere. The socks get holes pretty easily, I like to change at least twice a season, but no longer can do that, since I have to mend the socks myself.
