Great Aqueon 10 Filter

Pros:
quiet, efficient design, powerful, good gph, easy to set up
Cons:
All the independent pieces inside are a little tricky at first
Just bought this filter and got it running in my 5 gallon Aqueon tank (I sawed off the little piece of plastic between the main gap and the heater gap). The thing is silent, and the current isn't even too strong for being a 10 gallon tank with a 100 gph cycle rate in a 5 gallon. The little cord-track on the side is nice too, as is the expanded surface area inside to develop more beneficial bacteria. Overall a great design and value, well worth the $8.99 I paid for it.

Great Product

Pros:
Very efficient filters
Cons:
Need stronger longer lasting catridges due to its gph
I bought three of them, 55/75, 30, and a 10. They work very well to the point where I was impressed. However, the catridges made for them are for light use. They need to be replaced more often than once a month depending of fish load. Heavier duty catridges would be perfect.

Have the 20, great filter

Pros:
Quiet, Good Flow, Slim
Cons:
Impeller stalls
This is a great filter, and would recommend one if you dont want to have a cansiter filter. They are silent, good water flow, very slim design. Only problem with the one I have is if I turn it off and give it a few minutes, I sometimes have to mess with the impeller as it gets stuck/stalls for some reason. But over all I love this filter.

Awesome product !

Pros:
Durable, Needs Little Upkeep, Quiet, Effective
Cons:
I have bought one of these filters for each one of my three aquariums and I wouldn't use anything else.I have tried other filters but I was always bothered by how loud other brands were, this one is very quiet. It blends with normal house sounds and you don't notice it at all.I like the fact that the filters are easy to get ,almost every store carries them so you don't have to search for a store that has them. The filter is very effective at keeping the tanks clean;people comment on how clear the water is.They also put a lot of air into the water which keeps the fish happier and more active.Overall it is a great filter that is easy to maintain, use, and fairly easy to clean also.

Pros:
Extremly quiet, Large amont of Bio filtration
Cons:
filter cartrage blocks up easaly causing the water to bypass the filter.
I've been using the power 10 on my 10 gallon tank with great sucsess. Keeps the water sparkling clean. Its very quiet, and takes up less space then a competing bio-wheel filter. My only complant is that the stock cartrages clog in about 2-3 weeks causing unfiltered water to by-pass back into the tank. Also after cleaning the filter the floss starts to wear thin. My solution was to buy a sheet of Marineland bulk filter pad that you cut to fit the filter. The plastic frame that the stock filter slides into holds this bulk pad perfectly; and you get 4 times the number of filters for the same price. You can also use the carbon filter pad If you want to use chemical filtration.
