Outstanding product, highly reliable, low cost for replacement parts. I use this magnum to pump water through my two fishes phosphate reactor with outstanding results.

i have two of these on my 125 gal tank, they work great. the only problems i had with mine,was the quick disconnect, being junk,from the beginning.To fix my problem, i used garden hose disconnects, and fittings, there cheaper, and i have had no problems since,using them. learn the easy way to prim your filter.

This filter is fantastic. It keeps the tank sparkling and removes a lot of nitrates and removes the odor. Don't go with hang on filters! if you have the room totally go with the can canister.

I use this filter system for several years now and have had no complaints with it. I dropped it and broke the canister and the company sent me out a replacement right away. It is very quiet but more so it is very effective being used in my filtration system. I would highly recommend this product to all levels of experience fish keepers.

This is one of the first filters I purchased when I decided to get back into keeping fish The one I have now is eight years old and performs as well today as the day I set it up. It does a fantastic job on all accounts. I have seven aquariums totalling over 500 gallons. I would recommend this filter to anyone from beginner to the professional

I have Fluval and Eheim canisters as well as Emperor and Aquaclear hang-on-back filters but Magnums are my favorite filters. Bought my first one over 5 years ago and it is still in use. Very effective mechanical filters and the micron filtering will get your water clearer than you thought possible, makes you almost want to drink it! The Bio-wheel addon fills the void this filter had for beneficial bacteria, making it that much better! The filter sleeves can last you months if you regularly rinse them during maintenance! Very good for dirty cichlids! Another major plus is parts for these filters are readily available should a single part break, which could save you a lot of money. My one complaint is the micron cartridges are rather involved when it comes to cleaning them, but at least they can be used over and over!

VERY GOOD PRODUCT

For a dual purpose filter this filter performs OK. I use it mainly for tank cleaning with its pleated filter. The filter takes a while to purge air from the top of the filter and is not easy to set up. Used as a filter with the bio-wheel, I expect that it would outperform other canister filters. I don't care for the impeller design and the relatively low flow that it pushes.
