C-Skim 1200 Deluxe Protein Skimmer

The C-Skim represents an advanced design in protein skimming. This is a stand alone, or in-sump design that will require a water feed pump rated between 300-400 GPH to push water through the skimmer. The inlet for this feed line is a 1/2” hose barb. The C-SKIM includes a foaming aspiration pump (50W) with a pin-wheel impeller to re-circulate water within the skimmer body, injecting up to 450 liters of air per hour into the water. There is a simple control valve on the outlet port (1 1/2” Rigid Pipe) to adjust the water level within the reaction chamber. The internal design draws the outlet water from around the edges of the reaction chamber, minimizing bubble “wash through”. The collection cup also has a unique “FoamView” side panel to make it easier to see the water level within the unit. There is also an integrated neck washing system to periodically wash any accumulated scum from the inside neck of the collection cup. This can increase the skimming efficiency by up to 40%. The collection cup has a drain port with included tubing, and the air injection is controlled by a simple rotating dial. All of the control and connection systems are on the same “face” of the C-Skim making it easy to use in a sump or when placed inside a cabinet stand. The over all dimensions of the C-Skim foot print are 15.7” x 7” x 20.9” tall.
