The beautiful black and white contrast present on this fish is quite striking in the aquarium. This fish is not recommended for a tank that contains feather dusters or LPS corals as those things are a normal part of the diet for this fish and they are likely to be damaged or killed. The Burgessi Butterfly would be an excellent candidate for a FOWLR (Fish only with live rock) tank, as it can help keep nuisance anemones under control and the fish will benefit from hiding places the rock will provide. This fish is fairly shy, and may take some time to adjust to a new aquarium so providing plenty of hiding places is very important to help it settle in.
Approximate arrival size for Burgessi Butterfly: Medium 2-3”
