Bundoon Blenny
(Meiacanthus bundoon), the Bundoon Blenny hails from the areas around Fiji and Tonga. This little fish spends most of its time in and around reef structures, looking for food and shelter. In the wild this fish feeds on zooplankton, nibbles at algae, and eats small meaty crustaceans found in the wild. In captivity this fish will typically leave most reef inhabitants alone, though it is considered semi aggressive. If threatened, this fish has been known to give a painful bite. The Bundoon Blenny is an omnivore and should be given Mysis and brine shrimp as well as commercially prepared herbivore and omnivore formulas.
Full grown size in the home aquarium will generally be in the neighborhood of three inches, so this fish can be kept in a moderately sized aquarium in the range of 20 gallons or larger.
Approximate arrival size: 1.5 to 2.5 inches
