This broad leaf form of the Sagittaria works well in any aquarium with at least 2 watts of light per gallon of water. It should be placed in the foreground or background, as it has a tendency to grow fairly tall and in shorter tanks can grow out of the water. Pruning of this plant is done by trimming of dead tips on leaves. Regular maintenance of this pruning is important to keep the leaves healthy.
