Blue Stripe Neon Goby
Blue Stripe Neon Goby, Gobiosoma oceanops, is a colorful addition to the aquarium with the right environment. Hardy and active, this fish requires peaceful tankmates who will not pick on a fish that only grows to a two inch maximum. This Western Atlantic native lives in the waters of Southern Florida across to the Texas Coast, though the specimens shipped by PETSOLUTIONS are typically Tank Raised. The Blue Stripe Neon Goby will act as a Cleaner and will clean other aquarium inhabitants. Not picky about food, it will typically accept flake or pellet food, but should have an occasional meal of frozen or live food. Peaceful with any fish except its own kind, plenty of space should be provided if more than one are to be kept in the same aquarium as they do establish territories that it will defend from other Gobies. The Blue Stripe Neon Goby is reef-safe and is a great home aquarium choice.
