This hardy angel and its roughly 6 inch maximum size lends itself well to aquarium life for those who do not have the space required for the large angel varieties but want a more substantial fish than a pygmy angel. This fish will hold its own in an aquarium but it is not particularly aggressive. It is possible the Blue Spotted Angel may nip on corals if kept in a reef tank so great care should be taken if this fish is to be kept in a tank with corals. Ideally this angel will be kept in a tank with live rock so the fish can have the opportunity to graze on algae that grows on the rocks.
Approximate arrival size for Blue Spotted Angel: Small 2-3”
