Blue Face Angel
The Euxiphipops xanthometapon is also known as the Blue Face Angel or Yellow Mask Angel. Found in the Indo-Pacific, this is a large angel capable of growing to 18 inches in the wild. Like most Angelfish, it is not a "reef safe" fish and will not tolerate other Angels in the tank. Juveniles and Subadults will adapt to aquarium conditions and require a varied diet of vegetable and meat based prepared foods. Adult coloration is similar to the Atlantic Queen Angelfish, though with a yellow eye mask and no crown. The Blue Face Angel is fairly hardy once acclimated to prepared diets.
