This fish as a juvenile is a very attractive yellow with black stripes on the sides, and as it grows it will change color drastically to a much darker fish that will be primarily black and brown in color. The Bicolor Blackmouth Chromis should be considered very aggressive as an adult, and be kept with only other fish that can hold their own if a territory fight should occur. Larger angels, tangs, puffers, clownfish, and other damsels would likely be good tank mate choices. This fish is an omnivore that will thrive with a variety of prepared and frozen foods.
