Batfish are open water swimmers which can grow quite large. They will require a large and uncluttered aquarium where they can swim freely. Batfish are peaceful and do not bother other fish, but they may be territorial with their own kind. Batfish should not be kept with other fish that have a reputation as fin nippers, such as puffers.
