Baby Red Tail Boa (captive bred)
Native to South America, Red Tail Boas (Boa constrictor imperator) inhabit rain forest areas. They are quite adept at climbing and hunting in the canopy and understory for food but live mainly on the forest floor where they are well camouflaged. These snakes are active at dusk and dawn but are primarily nocturnal.
