Annularis Angel
The Pomacanthus annularis is also known by the common name, Blue-Ring Angelfish. Found in the Indo-west-Pacific, the adult coloration is one of the more spectacular in the hobby. This larger Angelfish is fairly hardy in the home aquarium and requires a varied diet or both vegetable and meaty foods. Mysis Shrimp or bits of fresh seafoods will usually entice the Angel to eat. When it is first introduced to the aquarium it may be shy, and will require several caves where it can hide. As it matures and becomes adjusted to the aquarium it will spend more time cruising the tank. In the wild, it can grow to 12 inches in length.
