The outdoor rated ballast will easily survive the high humidity levels found above an aquarium. Fully vented hood eliminates the need for fans or external ballast. Instant start feature enables use of a timer. Internal polished aluminum reflector allows unit to deliver up to four times the light of a standard fluorescent bulb and 50% more than VHO bulbs.
