The Albino Tiger Barb is not found in nature, but has the same requirements and characteristics of its wild cousin from Indonesia, Sumatra and Borneo. Growing to a maximum size of 3 inches, this barb is a very active, schooling fish. Within the school it will establish a “pecking” order, so the more the merrier with this fish. They may bother other slow moving fish in the aquarium. The Albino Tiger Barb will prefer large areas for open swimming, but also requires some sheltered areas for hiding. As an omnivore, they will eat most all prepared aquarium foods.
